The most widely distributed species of owl in the world, the common barn owl can be found in every type of environment except for polar and desert regions. They can easily be identified by their unique heart-shaped face and striking white and brown plumage.

  • History: Barn owls are incredibly common throughout most of the regions they inhabit, and are classified as an animal of least concern on the conservation status spectrum. Historically, many cultures considered the barn owl to be an evil or demonic omen. Because of this, they’ve earned many nicknames including the demon owl, death owl, and ghost owl. Don’t worry – you have nothing to fear from this beautiful creature!

    STANDARD SERVICE: All items ship from our Southampton, NY location within 1-2 business days. Orders with Standard service will be shipped via USPS First Class, USPS Priority Mail, UPS Ground, UPS Surepost, or FedEx Home Delivery.

    EXPEDITED SERVICE:  Please call us for a quote if you wish to have your items shipped using an expedited shipping service such as UPS Two Day or Next Day..

    We will provide an ESTIMATED delivery timeframe at checkout based on the items in your order and your location. Some orders may arrive in multiple shipments.

    Items Lost or Damaged in Transit

    Please contact us by email or calling in the event your shipment is lost or damaged.  In the event of visible damage, please keep all packaging material.  Stevenson’s will provide tracking numbers for all shipments and is not responsible for items not received that the tracking shows as having been delivered.

They saved my son’s fifth birthday by going above and beyond to help me out after I had unbelievably bad luck finding the Playmobil house that he wanted and is near impossible to find.
